Non-Verbal Communication - The Unknown Language
"In the right key one can say anything. In the wrong, nothing. The only delicate part is the establishment of the key."
George Bernard Shaw
This is the most unique and interesting interpersonal communication course you may ever participate in. The course opens up the art and science of the non-verbal world and how we unconsciously use this language all the time. Topics include body language, use of gestures, postures, facial and hand expressions, use of space, time and objects (clothing, art, furniture) the sound, tone and pitch of the voice, focus of the eyes and the entire unconscious expression.
In this seminar you will learn:
- Since 90% of our communication is nonverbal (55% body language and 35% tone of voice) how things are said, not just what is said , is extremely important.
- What you project unconsciously as a communicator and what signals the other is unconsciously sending you.
- How to connect the verbal with the nonverbal expression to create a complete message.
The course is designed to most effectively balance principles and ideas with practical exercises carried out by means of video, role playing and personal feedback.
Dominic Fischer has trained thousands of people from executives to sales persons to airline personnel to teachers, literally anyone who needs better communications skills. The great advantage that Mr. Fischer brings to this work is that he is both a psychologist and professional mime/actor. Others approach this work either too theoretically or too experientially. Mr. Fischer has found the perfect balance as his critics can testify.
